I'm Harismita, a Visual Designer and Illustrator based in London. I recently graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Digital Direction. I see myself as a design generalist who loves exploring graphic design as a way to tell meaningful and impactful stories.

I've always been a jack of all trades, and it took me a while to realise I find joy in that versatility. And so I'm interested in testing the limits of conventional storytelling and how visual culture shapes it, seeing how far both can stretch.

Growing up amid so much diversity in the south of India shaped how captivated I am by our differences as humans, and, just as much, by what we all share. As the world grows more culturally homogenous, I find myself drawn even more to the diversity, sitting with it, digging into it, and letting context inform the way I design. Music is a big part of my world too: I sing, learn instruments, and dabble in production, alongside hiding behind it when I need to cope. And then there's also that long-running love affair with language and literature.

In a nutshell, I'm a girl of many interests and twice as many opinions; a quality that has been an inconvenience and a joy in equal measure and one that keeps me on the creative side of the world.
